Sixth Grade Requires Tdap BoosterParents are reminded that students enrolling in sixth grade in Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) this fall must present proof that they have had a tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) booster shot within the past five years. By state law, without proof of this immunization, children will not be able to enroll in school for the 2011–12 school year. Read Release Mandated Vision and Hearing ScreeningsVision and Hearing screenings are mandated by the Commonwealth Of Virginia to be completed for all new students to Prince William County School and students in grades Kindergarten, third, seventh and tenth. The secreenings will be done on students within 60 days of their first day of enrollment of the school year.
